descriptions of the term:

Digital printing

Besides the screen printing, the digital printing technique can be used for the printing of case surfaces. It is also referred to as non-impact-printing-process.

The production process:

All information for the printing are available as computer files that can be directly submitted to a laser or inkjet printer. Digital printings are immediately dry after the printing process and therefore can be used shortly afterwards. In contrast to screen printings, the design of digital printings can be changed shortly before the production. This feature makes digital printings more flexible and faster. The digital printing technique does not require extensive preparation like the screen printing technique. Detailed and colour-accurate designs are possible with digital printings.

Starting with 20 pcs, digital printings are realizable on nearly any case surface. Especially pictures and motifs with colour gradients can be optimally produced.
