Privacy

The protection of your privacy and personal data is very important to KKC. We have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that the regulations on data protection are observed both by us and by external service providers.  This privacy policy outlines what information we record and for what purposes we use that information.
KKC collects and uses your personal data exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act of the Federal Republic of Germany. In the following, we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of the collected data. You can access this information at any time on our website.  

 

§ 1 Data collection

For technical reasons, your Internet browser automatically transmits data to our web server ("log files") when you access our website. Among other things, these are the date and time of access, URL of the referring website, file accessed, amount of data sent, browser type and version, operating system and your IP address.
The evaluation of the so-called log files is used, among other things, for error analysis.
This data is stored separately from other data that you enter when using our offer. It is not possible for us to assign this data to a specific person. The data is evaluated for statistical purposes and subsequently deleted.
Access to this data is only possible for authorized persons.

NEWSLETTER
If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address from you. In order to be able to address you personally, we also ask you to provide us with your title and name. We use this data exclusively for the delivery of our newsletter. When you register for our newsletter, we collect data that allows us to trace the registration process. For this purpose, we store the time of registration and IP addresses.
We store all data on protected servers in Germany. You can object to the storage of your data and its use for the delivery of our newsletter at any time. For this purpose, each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. Alternatively, send an informal message to datenschutz@kkc-koffer.de.

 

§ 2 Data use and deletion

The personal data is used to enable you to access the homepage of KKC, to manage the content and documents you have posted there for you and to provide you with information about them, as well as to contact you and check your identity.
Stored personal data will be deleted if you revoke your consent to the storage, if the storage of the data is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose pursued with the storage or if their storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons. Furthermore, we will not pass on your personal data to third parties unless you have given us your consent to do so. By order of the competent authorities, we may provide information on this data (inventory data) in individual cases, insofar as this is necessary for the purposes of criminal prosecution, to avert danger, to fulfill the statutory tasks of the constitution protection authorities or the Military Counter-Intelligence Service or to enforce intellectual property rights.

 

§ 3 Use of cookies

Some of our services require that we use so-called cookies. Cookies are small data packages that your Internet browser stores on your computer. Cookies can store information about your visit to our website. You can configure your browser to reject cookies or to ask for your confirmation beforehand. If you reject cookies, however, this may mean that not all of our offers will function properly for you. The cookies used by KKC for automatic login are deleted after 14 days.

§ 4 Web analytics service

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
In the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "anonymizeIp" to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

§ 5 Use of Facebook social plugins

This website uses social plugins ("plugins") of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook").
The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo and / or the text "Like".

When you call up a website of the Internet presence that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which then integrates it into the website.
By integrating the plugin, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like" button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there.

§ 6 Twitter

Twitter and the re-tweet functions are an offer of Twitter, Inc. When using the re-tweet functions, information about the website you are using is made available to others and connected to your Twitter account. If you become a "follower" of the Twitter profile of the respective portal, you can be contacted by the respective portal via the Twitter service. The data protection information of Twitter applies.

§ 7 Use of the Google "+1" button

On this website, the "+1" button of the social network Google Plus of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California, 94043 USA, (hereinafter "Google"), is used. If you call up a web page of our Internet presence that is provided with the "+1" button, a connection to the Google servers is established and the button is displayed on the web page by informing your browser. This transmits to the Google server which of our Internet pages you have visited. The "+1" button is not used to record your visits to the Internet. Google does not permanently log your browsing history when displaying a "+1" button and does not evaluate your visit to a page with a "+1" button in any other way. Google stores data about your visit for about two weeks for system maintenance and troubleshooting purposes. However, this data is not structured according to individual profiles, user names or URLs and is not forwarded to us.

If you are logged into Google Plus and operate the "+1" button, Google collects information about your Google profile, the URL you recommended, your IP address and other browser-related information. If you withdraw your +1, this information will be deleted. If you have made your profile publicly available in the Google Plus settings, your "+1" can be displayed by Google as references together with your profile name and your photo in Google services, such as in search results or in your Google profile or in other places on websites and ads on the Internet. If you do not want Google to collect and use your data in the aforementioned manner, you must log out of Google Plus before visiting our site. § 8 Social Bookmarking

This website offers its users the option of permanently storing links to our content and parts of this content on servers of third-party providers on the Internet. These external services are provided by various providers. Our servers do not store any data about the social bookmarking services you use.
