Aluminium frame cases are almost always equated with aluminium cases – however, these two case models are based on a very different construction method.

Panel material of various types is assembled into a case with the aid of aluminium profiles. Plywood in different strengths forms the corpus of these cases and is covered with aluminium folios, laminates in various colours and structures, plastic folios and plastic panels for a visual design. These surfaces are characterised by low weight and high resistance. Due to the construction method, all corpus components (profiles and panel material) can be cut to an individual size without the use of special tools. Thanks to this feature, all cases can be manufactured in an individual width, depth and height as well as design which fits to the projects of each customer.

When the case is finished, the aluminium profile immediately catches the eye. The six case surfaces are kept together by this frame. The name aluminium frame case is derived from this construction method. 

Important note:
This term has established so well, because many manufacturers tend to use a basic panel made of wood or wood-like material. This panel is covered with a laminate which shall imitate an aluminium surface. This design creates the impression of a case completely made of aluminium!
